The waiting room was loud and very crowded. I had to wait what seemed like forever but then was greeted by the assistant, Lindsey, who Took time to answer any questions I had about what treatment my child was going to undergo. She didn’t act annoyed like other assistants I had in the past. Lindsey really worked with my child to make her feel comfortable and at ease. She definitely made this visit much more enjoyable.
The reception area is inattentive to patients that check in. My appointment was at 8am. The receptionist handed me paperwork to fill out that I gave back 3 minutes later. 15 minutes went by and I asked her was the dentist running late she replied she was waiting on me to hand her my paperwork. Smh I was brought back at 830 for my appointment. Which is the time I requested but was told its not available because they only see adult patients at 8am. The hygienist and assistant were pleasant and made sure I was comfortable. I'm thinking of finding a dentist closer to where I live that has a better rapport with patients.
The staff is great can't say too much about the office manager. He is very short with you. It's not what you say it's how you say it. If you have 2 children and one is being worked on, you need to find a babysitter because they will not let you go back with the child that's being seen. I understand the reasons why, but it would have been nice to know that before I got there. So the child that's in back is nervous and scared.
Called this morning trying to get my husband in for an emergency, they told me...."I'm sorry but we don't treat Adults on the weekend." WHAT??!! Don't most adults work during the week??? That has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard!!! Thankfully I found a dentist that did see him and was happy to have our business.
Adriana was wonderful I would recomend her and Kool Smiles for not just kids but adults to. I can honestly say best check up and most comfortable check up I have had since I was a kid myself. Thank you again Adriana and the rest of the staff at Kool Smiles.
