SO, I cold called Church after reading some reviews. I'm impressed.. JD was awesome. I'm headed to Florida on Sunday knowing my kid and grandkid are safe.
When I purchased a 100 year-old house last year I signed up for Church's maintenance plan. Since then I have been super happy as they have identified possibly life threatening issues (cracked heat exchanger) and helped me negotiate with a home warranty company that has been difficult on three separate occasions. Highly recommend Church Plumbing and Heating for all of your heating, cooling, and plumbing needs!
Church did routine maintenance on my furnace in September. Tech was here for 30 min and was in a rush to get out the door. I asked him about a noise I'd been hearing and he said he did not hear any unusual noises. The noises got louder and louder until yesterday, it was worse than ever. I called Church this morning (Sunday) and heard on their outgoing message that unless I had purchased their service agreement, I'd pay $199 for just the service charge because it's the weekend. The owner, Michael Church called me back and said that he had looked at what the tech had written in the computer about the call and the tech wrote that he recommended that I get a new furnace and that the current one was in rough shape. The tech never said a word to me about needing a new furnace or that it was struggling at all. Mr. Church offered to send a technician out at a cost of $199. I'll be calling anyone else but Church.
You know, it's never "fun" spending money on mechanical replacements. However, at some point, it does become necessary. Such was the case for our 30+ year old furnace. After weighing all options from two local and reputable plumbing and heating companies, we are so glad we chose Church, Pluming & Heating. From the initial inspection through the home assessment/sales and instalation processes, their staff was very professional, curtious and pleasant. Thank you Chad, Michael and Nate. Let there be heat!
