I cannot believe how awful this experience was. Even before we ordered the cookies, we spoke with several different people who quoted us different prices. We sent photos of what we wanted and assured that the baker could pull it off. The manager was extremely rude and was the least helpful. When we got the cookies, the manager wasn't in and the cookies looked AWFUL! We are not that picky, but icing bled into other colors, writing was not legible, and while we ordered 4 dozen, we had to leave with only 2 dozen barely presentable cookies. As an afterthought we wish would have taken pictures of all of the cookies, because they would surely be out of business if this is the products they turn out. We chose this bakery because they are known in the area and we thought they would be the best, but I urge everyone to go somewhere else. We still had to pay over $50 for 2 dozen ugly cookies and the manager (who had to be called because she wasn't at work) treated us like we did something wrong. Awful experience. Horrendous product.

The desserts were overly sweet and were, with few exceptions, of packaged quality. I hate to post reviews like this because I wanted SO hard to like this place. It's on one of my favorite walking trails and it looks so inviting. Now, while the baked goods are only passable it also has decorative items and a small deli menu that kept it up at two stars for me.

Completely rude staff especially the manager Diane. I purchased my wedding cake and dealt with Megan and everything was nice. I was told that we would also receive an anniversary cake on our one year that they would call a week before our anniversary to schedule when we would like it. Never received a phone call and in the mist of leaving out of town on our one year I forgot to follow up and ask about the anniversary cake. I called a month later and they advised I could get it now but, I said I would prefer to wait until my 2 year then and they said that would be fine. I called today to ask about it and Diane said Megan is no longer with us and that they will not give me my anniversary cake because it's been 2 years and she said that it was a bonus they did that I did not pay for it. But I signed a contract for my cake with it stating I would also receive an anniversary cake-so that means I paid for a service and product I never received. When I was talking to her on the phone she was rude and said they will not make me a cake and hung up on me. I called back right away for another employee I advised I was talking to Diane and she hung up on me. So the lady handed Diane the phone Diane said I'm not giving you a cake or talking to you and hung up on me again. I called back several times and they would not answer the phone and kept sending me to voicemail. Got in touch again and they had some answer the phone speaking Spanish pretending not to understand me and hung up on me again I called back several times no answer. Called again a man answered I asked for the owner he said they are not available so I asked for their names and the guys said I'm the owner said his name was Steve Harman. I knew he wasn't the owner since Diane and the whole staff have been playing a childish game with me. But I proceed to explain what happened and he said that they are not making a cake for me and hung up on me to. What kind of Management is this. Being disrespectful to customers and hanging up on them. I understand if Megan is not there anymore but the business is and I was promised an anniversary cake that they will not provide to me.

Overall, this business is run by incompetent and rude people. My now husband and I worked with Megan (who was great) to order cupcakes and a special cake for our wedding. We had a contract signed and deposit paid 6 months ahead of the event. A WEEK before the wedding, we get a call from Diane, saying Megan no longer worked there and they had no idea what we wanted, where our reception was, and when it was. We had to repeat our order multiple times for Diane, each time she would get lost or confused and make us start over. Finally, she said they could do our cupcakes but not our special cake. Let me repeat that: One WEEK before our wedding, our cake company told us they could not do our cake that we had already paid for and had a signed agreement for from 6 months prior. We said fine, but we deserve a discount and Diane refused, stating we had no reason to want a discount. We then decided to cancel our order and Diane said she would process a refund. Instead of processing a refund however, she charged us again for the cake and cupcakes we weren't getting. The entire time we worked with Diane she was unprofessional and unapologetic.

They did some unbelievable birthday cakes for us--So nice you didn't want to eat them. If you are looking for the best this is the place.
