If you have not visited Jade Garden I highly recommend that you pass on the Chinese buffet and give Jade Garden a try instead. I have never left hungry and almost always have enough left over for take home.
The BEST Chinese food around Michiana! We love this place. They're clean and the staff is so nice! Everything tastes amazing, but they have the best egg rolls around!
My wife and I, as well as our 3 adult children and their families, have frequented this restaurant for many years. We enjoy the food and portion sizes. The owners who are often there are always so gracious and attentive. If you visit, I would recommend that you take a moment to check out the wall just inside the door, so you get a better feel for the love that customers have for this restaurant.
I had a well known dish known by many Koreans called Jjam bong. ( I don't have the exact name of it in the menu) It is a spicy noodle soup with many mix of vegetables, seafood and beef. This is a dish only found in many of Korean/Chinese restaurants in the big cities in the east or west coast. And, i was very surprised to find it here. It turns out that the owner lady is a Chinese born in Korea. Anyhow, for those among you that are open minded and a bit adventurous try this dish and you will not regret it.
Most people I know would agree that the friendly owners and incredible wait staff are the biggest draw for this restaurant.
Very nice inside, met with friends for lunch and was very pleased. Ordered from their other location before and love the food, so this wasn't a disappointment! Will return!!! The Coy pond it nice and the fish are huge and lovely to watch.
. . The NUMBER ONE REASON that our family returns to Jade Garden so frequently is the WAIT STAFF! Absolutely the best ever. Incredibly personable, attentive, kind, and genuine. I have never seen anything like it. I don't know if the restaurant is aware of the real prize that they have within their wait staff. I am so impressed with the wait staff that I consider it a privilege to pay for my meal and I am generous with my tip.
There are few places around here where you can get either good food or good service, but at jade garden I have consistently gotten fantastic food and out of this world service from Jackie. Whether for lunch or dinner you won't be disappointed by any of the items they have to offer and it's all delivered with the love and pride that makes this gem feel less like a restaurant and more like you're a long time friend who came over for dinner.
