Ran out of gas on 2/11. An Elkhart officer saw me walking, picked me up and took me to a gas station. He was very courteous and helpful. I didn't find out his name, but I very much appreciated the ride. It's little things like that that show caring for the community at large.
I just want say to all of the men and women of the Elkhart Police Department and any other Agencies that took part in the tragic event that happened on Cassopilis St.. Your all Heroes. What a Great Job. Thanks for your hard work in bringing closer to that family. Know that there are so many people that Thank You. Great Work.
we live in the 1500 block of franklin st. and over the last 2 to 3 months , there have been numerous incidents of gunfire in our neighborhood. although the police have not been able to catch who is responsible , they have responded very promptly and been very professional. I am confident they will put a stop to this foolishness but they also need the help of the public which it appears is in woefully short supply
